Implementation checklist for public RTSP embed
Use this checklist before the final camera embed goes onto the website or into a client rollout plan.
It does not try to solve full front-end governance or enterprise security review. It is there to make sure the stream is already validated, the embed step has a clear owner, and the public rollout context still makes sense.
What should already be true before embed
- A validated stream that actually plays in the browser.
- A clear target page or content block where the iframe will sit.
- A decision on who owns stream availability and future RTSP URL changes.
- Confirmation that the public context does not require a different security model or a private VMS route.
Common implementation questions
You can prepare the space on the page, but the real embed should only happen after a successful browser test.
Then assisted rollout or fit-check is a better next step, so ownership and scope are clear before publication.
No. This implementation path is for publicly reachable streams in a public or semi-public website context.
